Familiar Nursery Rhyme Cards (Kit 1)

 The purpose of rhyming is to provide practice in discriminating speech sounds in words which leads to beginning reading. These activities will develop phonemic awareness as well as listening skills and intonation patterns of the spoken language.

This set of rhymes includes 10 of the most familiar rhymes that many children grow up with. Each rhyme is on an 22 x 28cm  chart with a characteristic picture on the front while the rhyme is on the back. An excellent way to teach rhymes and promote discussions and understanding.
