Function of words first level

   Introduce your 1st level students to the basics of grammar. Function of words activities are not grammar lessons, they are grammar experiences.
These are not meant to teach grammar but instead are used to offer the child experiences. Nonetheless, the child may absorb the names of the parts of speech as they are used conversationally.   
Set consists of labels for each part of speech to be used in conjunction with easily obtained farm and zoo animals. Each card features the words in clear print format. Teachers may use this activity in conjunction with The Farm (Item 0.249.00) or the Farm grammar activities (Item EC-0645).
